SAS Institute is a worldwide software company based in Cary, North Carolina. For every day of two summers I worked in the Enterprise Excellence Center branch, maintaining their website and developing online applications. A large majority of my applications were focused on automating tasks that members of my team had to complete on a regular basis. Several of my applications worked with large databases of various types, while other applications were for large-scale document formation.

Working at SAS was an amazing experience. Working with a team of professionals on a daily basis was a new experience and I think I handled it pretty well. I was allowed to brainstorm ideas for new applications and given the chance to propose them to the team; my opinion was always welcome (and so was theirs).
